Ok, clearly I am rusty at this, because I just wrote a short post, tried to publish it, and somehow only one random sentence got published. And I hadn’t saved the text anywhere. Luckily, it was a pretty simple post.
Like everyone else with an abandoned blog, I’ve resolved to start writing here more. In this case “more” is a pretty low bar, since I think I’ve posted twice in the last year or so. Towards that end, I am inviting you (my 5 or 10 readers) to tell me what you would like to see me write about (I know at least one of you, Ester, has been waiting for this opportunity for years while I have obstinately resisted for no reason). Either leave them in the comments or go to my newly set up formspring page. I stole this idea from Fatshionista, where the use of the formspring page has lead to some pretty great posts. So go, be inquisitive and helpful.

It sounds so ridiculous to say that I have been waiting for years for you to write things. But it’s true, I have. You’re such a compelling, passionate, articulate person full of interesting and unusual ideas — how could you *not* write?
These two posts both pushed me to a very emotional point. Thank you for being so bare.
Though I’ve suggested it before, I would love for you to write about interpreting in the high school in the Bronx. Those stories really deserve to be put down.
